Harwich Stone Pier Sea Fishing Mark

The stone pier is 520 yards long and offers a variety of sub-surface features and a good mix of species throughout the year

Directions : Take the A120 off the A12 just outside Colchester. Follow signs for Harwich. At Ramsey roundabout take the third exit for Dovercourt, passing the shopping area, towards Harwich. Just before the High Lighthouse on the main road, turn right into Harbour Crescent and the stone pier is at the far end. Park along the promenade, a walk of about 500 yards
Season : Whiting, pouting, flounder and small dab in winter, spring run of codling, May for eels, June for sole, bass from May to November, whiting in September and October, codling in November and December
