A good low water mark in winter and casting anywhere off the left-hand corner will put your bait into reasonably deep water

Directions : Park at the northern end of Marine Drive, Hartlepool, and walk down the steps directly in front of the pipe, which is 500 yards before the end of the promenade
Season : Winter for codling, summer for small codling, coalfish, eels and odd pouting
