Perch Rock Beach Sea Fishing Mark

An outstanding spot for low water fishing on the River Mersey, best either side of low water

Flounder, plaice, school bass, whiting, codling, dab

Recommended Baits:
Peeler crab, ragworm, lugworm, mackerel, mussel
Directions : Take the M53 Wirral motorway or approach via Liverpool using the Kingsway Mersey Tunnel. Follow the signs for New Brighton and on to King's Parade (A554). Fort Perch Rock is clearly visible before New Brighton, turn left off the main road towards the fort. Free car park, short walk to beach
Season : From mid April for flounder, plaice and bass, autumn and winter for whiting, codling and dab
