Southbourne Sea Fishing Mark

A shallow sandy beach about three miles west of Hengistbury Head

Sole, plaice, mackerel, pollack, bass, ray, pouting, dab, whiting, flounder, rockling, turbot, gurnard

Recommended Baits:
Peeler crab, ragworm, razorfish, slipper limit, lugworm, sandeels, fish baits
Directions : Head for the Southbourne coast road, which runs from Boscombe (Overcliff Drive) to Hengistbury Head. Parking and access to the beach near Grange Road
Season : Summer through to autumn for most species, winter for small flounder and rockling
