Whether you’re searching the shallows for cruising bass, watching a float for subtle bites or spending a long day afloat, cutting out reflected glare can make a real difference to your fishing. VALLON’s Saltwater Revivals combine high-performance polarised lenses with a lightweight, wraparound design built to cope with the demands of saltwater angling.

The V52® polarised lenses feature a Category 3 grey tint and silver mirror coating to reduce glare in bright conditions, making it easier to see beneath the surface. They also provide UV400 protection against harmful UVA and UVB rays. The close-fitting, wraparound frame helps block sunlight entering from the sides, while a special hydro-oleophobic lens coating repels water, sea spray and oily residues – useful when the wind picks up or you’re fishing from a boat. Weighing just 33g, the Saltwater Revivals are designed to remain comfortable throughout a long session, with rubber nose pads helping keep them securely in place.

MADE FROM RECYCLED NETS

Another feature makes these sunglasses particularly relevant to sea anglers. The flexible Nylon 6 frames are made from material derived from 85% recycled fishing nets, collected and cleaned in India, then transformed into new eyewear. VALLON also works with environmental partner CleanHub, funding the collection of 1kg of ocean-bound plastic waste for every pair of sunglasses sold. According to VALLON, this initiative has already helped recover the equivalent of more than 10.9 million plastic bottles. It’s a welcome approach from a company that produces eyewear for people who spend much of their time on or near the sea.
