A true surf beach facing straight into the prevailing wind, clean sand backed by shingle

Small-eyed and thornback ray, bass, flounder, dogfish, plaice, whiting, dabs, coalfish

Recommended Baits:
Sandeels, crabs, lugworm, squid, mackerel, ragworm, mussels
Directions : Take the A40 from Fishguard or Carmarthen to Haverfordwest, then join the A487. Newgale is signposted at Haverfordwest and the A487 skirts alongside the beach itself
Season : April onwards for ray, bass, flounder, dogfish, plaice, July-August and September-October for bass, September to February for whiting and dabs, coalfish from November to February
