When I need out and out distance during a session I’ll probably turn to this one because I can gain those extra few yards, with added control coming from the mag setting. I don’t have to worry if the ground in front of me is a little tougher than normal either because this version has a speedy retrieve of 6.3:1.
It replaced the Mag Elite and together with a six-pin centrifugal braking system and brass gears, the quality really shines through. I like to use it on days when dabs, whiting, plaice and codling decide to stay well off, when this reel comes into its own to help you locate them.
