The reel’s dual drag system has been oversized and includes two ball bearings, plus one quickset, one-way clutch bearing.
The reel has EOS, which is Okuma’s patented elliptical oscillation system, giving it a smoother, more efficient line-lay on the aluminium spool.
The huge handle can also be folded away out of harm’s way, which is particularly handy.
Verdict
It’s a tough reel at a good price, especially if you’re new to the sport. Very user-friendly and will serve you well before you upgrade.
