This is an absolute joy to use – nothing stands in its way. It retains a lightweight feel coupled with strength, thanks to its graphite frame. Just give it a general wash and rinse after a session and it will not corrode. The side plate rings only add to its reinforcement.
The gears on this reel are heavy duty, with a stainless steel pinion and a high strength bronze alloy main gear, and they are oversized specifically for heavy-duty use.
There are four aircraft-quality stainless steel ball-bearings which enable great casting efficiency and a smooth retrieve.
To accompany the great gearing, the fast ratio of 6:1 means you can stay connected to a big fish right the way through guiding it in over the
rough terrain.
