Directions : Take the A1058 coast road east from Newcastle and head for Tynemouth. Go straight ahead at the Broadway Pub roundabout. Upon reaching the seafront, turn south past the Grand Hotel parking on roadside adjacent to Percy Gardens. The mark is a short walk just across the road and down steps to the beach
